Hours

Minimum of 37 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Essential Qualifications


Key contact for all visiting companies and clients, manage the arrival and departure of all events/clients ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety policies and regulations.
Provide an electrical based service to clients ensuring all set up/ connections meet current electrical safety regulations.
Liaise with the relevant departments on a day to day basis for maintenance of the venue and to assist with advancing events.
Manage a Health & Safety Programme ensuring the venue maintains an outstanding safety record.
Recruitment/training and development for Event and Stage Technician Team.

Desirable Qualifications

City & Guilds BS 7671 IEE Electrical Regulations (17th Edition) or City & Guilds 236 (Part 1 & 2).
Experience in a similar role/industry, including in a live music venue or touring productions. 
Good understanding of rigging in the entertainment industry.
A good working knowledge of sound, lighting & AV systems, with a high level of operating knowledge in at least two of these areas. Experience of ETC EOS family console would be an advantage.

 Understanding of health and safety management including HASAWA. LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, risk assessments, RIDDOR and manual handling.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

ICT skills in Windows based systems as well as programmes such as Artifax.
