Experience in a similar role with excellent communication skills.
Experience of managing a team.
Detailed working knowledge of financial accounting transactions, eg three way matching for purchases, sales invoices, accruals and cash reconciliation.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Good knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations.
Intermediate Outlook/Word skills.
Knowledge of SUN, Proactis and/or MRM.

Management of a team of 7 Accounts Assistants, providing necessary coaching and support.
Review of key reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, clearing account reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliations and sales and purchase ledger control account reconciliations.
Preparing reports for VAT return on a monthly basis.
Control over, reconciliation and posting of petty cash.
