Hillsborough Leisure Centre Pool Information And Admissions Policy
Beach leisure pool shallow end 0.00 metres and deep end 2.00 metres. Blue slide – Upto 2 children can ride with an adult. Black slide – Only one person minimum height 1 metres can ride at one time. Black slide is only available at a weekend and during School Holidays.
Children under 4’s can be accompanied by an adult (over 16) on a 2 to 1 ratio Monday – Friday 9am – 3.00pm or 9am – 10.30am at weekends and school holidays. Families attending with this ratio must exit the pool at the end of this dedicated session.
Buoyancy aids are compulsory for under 4s and advised for all under 8s. Babes in arms must be held at all times.
None swimmers and children wearing buoyancy aids must not swim past the pool divider. Lifeguards reserve the right to assess swimming ability and ask customers to not swim past the pool divider.

Gym
Inside our gym we have instructors that truly care and want to support you in your health and fitness journey. Each month you’ll receive a complimentary motivational session to help keep you on track to reach your goals.
Swimming Pools
Take a dip in one of our two swimming pools. Swim for fitness or try out an aqua based class in our 21 metre lane swimming pool.
Or enjoy a leisurely, fun swim with family in our 21 metre leisure pool featuring a slide, flume, interactive pirate ship and wave machine!
Fitness Classes
Choose from over 105 fitness classes every week. Classes take place in our dedicated fitness studio, spin studio and swimming pool. Choose from Les Mills favourites including BODYCOMBAT™ and BODYPUMP™ (including virtual classes) as well as more traditional classes such as Yoga and Aqua Aerobics.

With our Sheffield lifeCARD you can make savings at Hillsborough Leisure Centre and all SIV venues and take advantage of some great offers throughout the year. Sheffield lifeCARDs are just £3.
All of our facilities and activities are available on a ‘pay & play’ basis; you just need to simply dive in to everything we have to offer. A supplement of £3 for adults and £1.50 for children will be charged to non lifeCARD holders.
Accessibility Information
At Hillsborough Leisure Centre we provide the following facilities to make the centre accessible to everyone:
- Accessible car parking bays are available at the front of the Centre.
- An automatic doors leads into reception
- A lift in reception leads to the first floor where you access the gym, fitness studio and foodetc. coffee bar
- Accessible changing facilities are available
- Disabled toilets are available in the members changing rooms, sports hall male and female changing rooms, beach cafe, reception and cafe bar
- The Leisure Pool changing area has ramp acess
- Leisure pool has a sloped beach entry and a pool chair is available to use for entry to this pool
- Gym equipment in our Fitness Unlimited gym is wheelchair friendly
- There is currently no hoist entry to the Teaching Pool
- The teaching pool has ladder access
